I've also been invited to speak on a vaccination safety panel sponsored by the Lourdes Center For Public Health in Camden, NJ this fall. They are considering physicians from the AAP, Merck, and some of the people in our community we know and love. Stay tuned!

Of course we don’t have all of the answers, no one does….But on Saturday September 12th and Sunday September 13th on the campus of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) affordable and practical information on preventing and minimizing the symptoms associated with these conditions will be discussed. Imagine the numbers of children who will be frightened, many of whom have never received a medical procedure without mom or dad present, now obliged to listen to their peers whimper, yell and cry?

And all of this, in addition to the normal back-to-school chaos and the need for our schools to keep their eye on the ball regarding the most important task of all - educating our children.

SUPPORT YOUR RIGHT TO SUE VACCINE MAKERS IN CIVIL COURT

There has been much hand wringing about the raw deal that parents of vaccine-injured children have been dealt. First, they are told vaccines are safe and their children need them all. Second, their children are injured and doctors tell them it's not vaccine-related. Third, for the small percentage who meet the statute of limitations, retain counsel and complete the onerous administrative requirements, they are forced to endure a alternative process to our normal judicial tort system that has proven to be severely flawed. And all this because Congress agreed to protect vaccine makers from liability related to any injury or death from a government-recommended vaccine.

Attorneys Bob Krakow, Mary Holland, Todd Rosenbaum and others working with the Liz Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to support the right for children with vaccine injuries to take their injury claims relating to defective vaccines to civil court.

Please read this post and do three things:

2. Carefully consider organizations that might be willing to sign this "Friend of the Court" petition.
3. Forward this information to everyone you know and ask them to do the same.

You do not need to have an injured child or a pending petition in Vaccine Court to pay attention to this issue. If Congress is able to take away our constitutional right to a fair trial when it comes to vaccine injury, then it could happen with another product, in another industry. It could happen to you or someone your love. Our loss of important rights and freedoms is a slippery slope. Pay attention now or pay attention later.
