November 17, 2009 Dear Mr. Christie, I am writing to congratulate you on your recent victory as New Jersey’s governor. I believe you are the right person for the tough road ahead. New Jersey is a wonderful state and having been born and bred here I take great pride in the direction of our state. While I did vote for you for a myriad of reasons, the one I would like to specifically express my gratitude toward is your view on vaccination choice. There is a large group of people in New Jersey who feel that our rights have been compromised with so many mandates on newer vaccines such as the flu. We are very aware of your opinion for vaccination choice and we are looking forward to your leadership in this as well as other areas. We are hopeful that in the recent future we will have a choice to vaccinate our children and not feel that his must be imposed on us. There are too many variables and too many questions about the newer vaccinations that no one has the answers to. You are very well aware of corruption as former US Attorney for the State of NJ. You then can understand the possibility of large pharmaceutical companies looking solely at their bottom dollar and profit margin at the expense of the general public. This is not a new notion. This also is a bigger issue than New Jersey, it is a national issue. One that New Jersey can take the lead on. Please keep the citizens of New Jersey informed about changes in the future. We are looking for your support on this issue and need to know if you will support our cause. Lisa Stefanelli West Orange, New Jersey
