Dear Governor Christie and Lt. Governor Guadagno, I am writing to you to extend my best wishes on your new jobs ahead. Thank you for taking a stand during your campaign regarding vaccination choice. As soon as Louise sent her email to us, we were posting on several list serves regarding your position and encouraging parents with similar concerns to ours to vote for you. I am the mother of a severely vaccine injured child. We sincerely believe that our 7 year old daughter's health problems are directly related to the vaccines that she received within the first 6 months of her life, a few of which were not mandatory by the State Education Department, but given to our daughter by our then pediatrician without any of this being explained to us. We were also under the impression that our daughter's vaccines did not contain mercury as she was born in 2002, but low and behold at least two of the vaccines she received did receive mercury. Unfortunately, many pediatricians keep old vaccines on the shelf even after the public was told that mercury was removed. I can clearly say this to you. That I believe that vaccines are toxic , especially to those born with genetic mutations making it impossible to detox the viruses, bacteria, heavy metals and chemicals found in these concoctions. My daughter is 7 years old and only weighs 37 pounds. We have seen more doctors on the face of this earth and after 6. 5 years of this nightmare, have found over the last 4 years that homeopathy is powerful, and have turned to this healing approach along with other alternative therapies. But our battle for our daughter is far from over. We sincerely ask that NO mandatory vaccine program be implemented , as we believe vaccines are harmful to our health , and we also believe that if our daughter was to receive any more that it would be a nail in her coffin. We also ask that you lead the way for legislation to allow parents to file for philosophical exemptions. I have studied the issue of vaccines and also alternative therapies for several years now, and would be more than happy to share my experiences with you and your staff if you would find that helpful. I will close by saying that many moms are mercury toxic before they conceive, this is passed on to the child, and the vaccines are the last straw on the camels back. Please keep the pharmaceutical industry out of what is right for the health of our children and for the health of New Jersey's citizens as a whole.
