Chris Christie
Office of The Governor Elect PO Box 022 Trenton, NJ 08625-0022 November 17, 2009 Dear Mr. Christie, As a fellow Livingston resident, I’d like to congratulate you of your victory. The future is truly a bright one for the people of New Jersey with you leading the way. The issue that I am most concerned about are my rights as a parent to control the health care decisions of my children, namely, the enormous numbers of mandated vaccines that are required here in New Jersey. I have heard excerpts from your interview with Don Imus, where you sounded more like a concerned parent than a politician looking for votes. You seem to be on the same page as I about returning the decisions for a child’s health to his parents, not lawmakers. I am not alone in my concerns about this issue. As a health care provider, I work on a daily basis with families including those with vaccine-damaged children. I voted for you based on your promise to support a parents right to choose. We’ll be watching your progress on this issue. Hopefully, sooner than later as the damage to children is irreversible. Please let me know if I can be of assistance in the future. My children are counting on you!!!! Yours in Health, Gary Hecht, DC |
