Office of the Governor-Elect P. O. Box 022 Trenton, NJ 08625-0022 Honorable Governor-Elect Christie, I am one of many thousands that were encouraged by your commitment to support parental choice in vaccinations. The volume of literature from credentialed people about the likely connection between Autism and vaccinations is impossible to ignore. We are told that these vaccinations are safe but pharmaceutical companies and doctors are shielded from any liability. Our New Jersey government tells us that parents must comply with these mandatory vaccination programs and accept responsibility for any adverse effects. If these vaccinations are safe – why are parents forced to accept the awesome responsibility for anything that goes wrong. Any thinking person would conclude there is something wrong with this picture. It was refreshing to hear you sound more like a parent when discussing the number of children with Autism in New Jersey. I am very interested in your choice for Health Commissioner. Your commitment to give the people some input to this process was noticed and appreciated. Your position on parental choice was a factor in my decision to support you. Please keep me posted on your efforts to permit parental choice on vaccinations. Dale Lynn Freehold, New Jersey |

| Quote of the week |
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” - C. S. Lewis (1898-1963) |
