Dear Governor-elect Christie: My name is Randy Rabney and I am a resident of Maplewood, New Jersey and a parent of an elementary school student. I would like to thank you for publicly taking a stand for vaccine choice and congratulate you on your courage to do so. Many people in this state voted for you and endorsed you based exclusively upon the promises you made to be a leader on this issue. It is the expectation of this community that you will follow through on your campaign promises. As a parent, it is critical to me that I be able to make informed decisions about the health and well being of my child and family and that we are not mandated to take vaccinations that we don't believe to be safe or effective. I am hopeful that you will ensure that this will be the law in New Jersey. I would love to know what your plans are going forward on this issue. Thank you for your time and consideration. Randy Rabney |
