Dear Governor-elect Christie, I would like to wish you a warm congratulations on your election as Governor of New Jersey. I am tremendously gratified the people have spoken in your favor. I am a vaccine choice activist in New York State and hope that our election next year proves as advantageous for our state and our movement. I am also gratified that you have been outspoken on, and in support of, vaccination choice. I believe that, all medical debate aside, the issue of choice is a common ground that the overwhelming majority of Americans support. I hope to meet in the future. As we speak, there are vaccine rights groups busily uniting our efforts as a reaction to the (almost) H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccine mandate for our health care workers in New York. I am hopeful we will engage the support and activism of groups all over the country to push for the fundamental freedom. I have faith that in NY, NJ and all over the country, voters will send a clear message that our laws need to reflect the right to choose based on reasons of conscience or philosophy. Government has no place regarding our health care decisions Certainly, your election is a step in the right direction. Again, the sincerest congratulations and the best of luck.
